U4GM Pokemon TCG Pocket Tips to Get More Packs

If you're new to Pokémon TCG Pocket, the first few days can feel fast. Packs open, cards pile up, then suddenly you're waiting on timers again. That's normal. The trick is to squeeze value out of the free systems before spending your hourglasses. Some players even check Pokemon TCG Pocket Accounts to compare early collections and see which packs are worth chasing, but for most people, missions and Solo mode should come first.

Clear the one-time rewards early

Beginner missions and Advanced missions are easy to overlook, but they're some of the cleanest rewards you'll get. Do them as soon as you can. They don't reset, so don't treat them like dailies. Once they're gone, they're gone. Solo Battle Guides are also worth your time. The first few teach the basics, but don't stop there. Guides 8 to 12 give useful items and rental options, including the Wigglytuff ex Rental Deck. It's not flashy, but it helps when your own cards still feel thin.

Use Solo battles for more than practice

Step-up Battles are one of the best ways to pull extra Pack Hourglasses out of the game without paying. Start with Beginner, move into Intermediate, then Advanced, and keep going into Expert when your deck can handle it. Each first clear matters. The side tasks matter too. You might need to win without losing points, hit 100 damage in one attack, or use a deck that matches a certain strength or weakness. Don't force it with a bad home-made list. Rental Decks are there for a reason. Charizard ex, Pikachu ex, Mewtwo ex, Venusaur ex, Palkia ex, Dialga ex, Celebi ex, and other key pulls can unlock decks that make these challenges much less painful.

Spend shop tickets with a plan

Shop tickets should usually go into hourglasses, but the order matters. The refreshed monthly offers are limited, so pick those up before they disappear. They cost more per hourglass than the permanent one-time deals, but missed stock is missed stock. After that, go for the better-value permanent bundles. Pack Hourglasses mean more openings, while Wonder Hourglasses give you more shots at specific cards through Wonder Pick. If you're building a deck, both matter. Just don't buy random cosmetics too early unless you're sure you don't need the cards.

Know when a pack has done its job

It's easy to keep opening the same pack because it once gave you something good. That's how you waste resources. If you already have two copies of several chase cards from that pack, the odds of a useful pull start to feel worse. Duplicates can turn into shinedust and flair, sure, but that usually isn't the goal. At that point, use Wonder Pick to fill gaps, especially for Pokémon ex cards. Save Pack Points for awkward missing pieces or cards that refuse to show up. Level-ups, daily missions, the shop gift, and regular free packs will keep the collection moving.

Save more than you spend

You don't need to open every pack the moment you can. Leveling gives Pack Hourglasses and Poké Gold, and six Poké Gold can become another pack, but patience still wins. Once your main deck is built, slow down. Let the free daily packs do some work. If someone wants a quicker start, they may choose to buy Pokemon TCG Pocket Accounts after checking what's included, but even then, smart resource use is what keeps progress steady later on.
